It’s 2:45AM and I just finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I really enjoyed the book and was incredibly moved by it.
Times change! Before I used to read in books but now I read on my Kindle. Although nothing will compare to having the actual physical book, I thought I’d give the Kindle a chance. I do enjoy having the ability to carry many books for my reading pleasure in a small form factor.
Currently I’m reading “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”. I’m about a quarter of the way through and I am eating it up.
A good song is so infectious. I can feel it inside me running through my entire body. I’ve often found that a great song will take me back to the time period I listened to it frequently. No other experience can really compare whether it be a scent or a photograph. Listening to a song is event dependent and often occurs many times with different people in different places in different moods. Someone a while ago recommended that instead of scrapbooking to remember a time or event that I should create a mix CD. Naturally of course, I haven’t. And naturally of course, I wish I had. Nevertheless with the internet (Pandora, YouTube, Spotify) storing all my playlists, favorited songs, etc. listening to music I previously obsessed over has been a lovely way to time travel back to different periods of my life.
